ABOUT THE COMPANY
Lombkor started of in 1996 in Aliwal North in the Eastern Cape - South Africa after the Managing Director resigned from Old Mutual. Here he was employed as a manager and sales representative for five and a halve years. While at Old Mutual, Albert received valuable training in all avenues of life insurance and investment and on the basis of this knowledge and skills which he was taught, he started his own Independent Brokerage - Lombkor.
The following number of years showed constant growth in the company and in 2003 he and his family decided to centralize the companies operations by moving to Knysna. From here, all of his clients, which were by now based throughout South Africa, were more accessible.
The increase inclient volume positioned the company to get contracted by major insurance companies as well as underwriting managers in South Africa. The large volume of insurance business also enables Lombkor to negotiate favorable rates for its existing and all future clients.
